Author: Michaela Matušková Title: Case study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Periphery Paraparesis of Lower Limbs due to Degenerative changes of Spine Aims: The aim of this bacherol thesis is to summarize physiotherapeutic information about the diagnosis of peripheral paraparesis of lower limbs and make the case study about the pacient with this diagnosis. Methods: The general part is about the information of diagnosis and explanation main terms about the disease and about suitable therapeutic methods, that could be used. The case study consist of kinesiological examination, physiotherapeutic plan and therapy, ten therapeutic units, the final kinesiological examination and effects of therapy. Objectives: The aim of this work is to obtain a teoretic findings of problematic of peripheral paraparesis, that appeared as a result of spondylodiscitis. The next object was the physiotherapy metods used in this case. In the special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Methods: In general part of thesis is containd a theoretical knowedge of issue spondylodiscitis, etiology, clinical symptoms, diagnostic and therapeutic metods. In practical part is containd case study of a patient with peripheral paraparesis as a result of spondylodiscitis. This part was developed based on the work with the patient during the special practice in Vršovická zdravotní a.s. in the period 6.1.-31.1.2014.
